Part way up glaciated granite benches to foot of cliffs... Floor Vermillion: - Lodgepole For. and Carex exserta mead. [meadow] ice planed granite canyon benches upstream: -- Jeffrey Pines, Junipers, Lodgepoles: n.w. wall Jeffreys, Junipers on dry grante; s.e. wall Jeffreys, Junipers, Aspen scrub and (this date) many wet rills and seepages; Firs above. This little fern with Pellaea densa, Cheilanthes, Selaginella, etc. under edge of rocks; Artemisia tridentata and Arctostaphylos patula in vicinity.
