Locality: Haiti, Sud, Haiti: Sud. Massif de la Hotte; Parc National Pic Macaya; southern slope of Morne Formon, ca. 1650-1730 m alt. Small bowl-shaped valley below "1650 camp" and adjacent ravine. North of Ville Formon. Moist forest of Pinus occidentalis; rocky ravine with Baccharis, Rhytidophyllum, Eupatorium, Senecio, Garrya, Weinmannia, Agave, Gyrotaenia, Wigandia. Moist cloud forest with Pinus, Prunus, Ardisia, Myrsine, Weinmannia, Eugenia, Didymopanax, Dendropanax, Bumelia, Prestoea, Citharexylum, Daphnopsis, Alchornea, Banara, Tabebuia, Garrya, Cestrum, etc. Epiphytic fern; moist forest.
